Terms and Conditions of transfer services Consorzio Pegaso Limo


Consorzio Pegaso Limo (hereinafter PEGASO) P. Iva 14601731004, based in Rome, Via P. L’Eremita, 3, performs the rental service with driver, which belongs to the category of non-scheduled public services and provides directly for the collective or individual transport of persons, with a complementary and complementary function to the scheduled public services. These services are carried out at the request of users, not on an ongoing or periodic basis, on routes and times established from time to time, only and exclusively upon request of reservation. The car rental service with driver provides for the provision of a vehicle for passenger transport conducted exclusively by a driver registered for the Professional Role in the category at the Chambers of Commerce of relevance, meeting the specific requirements and documents which are still valid and which enable it to operate in the public sector.


The rental services with driver offered by Pegaso are divided into the following types: a) Time Arrangement: consists in transporting the Customer to the destination and remain at his disposal; the rates are based on the time in which the car remains available and the length of the route. b) Transfers: consist in transporting the Customer to his destination without any stop intermediate; once reached the destination, the driver leaves the Client and does not remain at his disposal. c) Private Shuttles: they are characterized by the constancy of the timetable and the route and the repetition of the service over time; once agreed with the customer, the type of vehicle is always the same except for exceptional situations. d) Special services: consist in meeting the customer’s demand for special services, national or international, with possible request for special means (management of transport for events, conferences and events, high representative and security services, sightseeing and excursions, night service for receptions, theater, premises, etc.) For rental services with driver, except transfers, a minimum period of two hours of hourly provision shall apply.

The Company confirms the booking by e-mail and assumes no responsibility for bookings made with other systems. The service will be provided in the ways, times and places indicated in the service confirmation document, which the customer acknowledges by giving full evidence between the parties regarding the performance of the service, as agreed. The customer is required to verify the correctness of the information contained in it and to promptly report any discrepancies from what is required. The availability of vehicles is guaranteed if the booking request is forwarded at least six hours before the service, with the exception of services rendered outside the provincial capitals and the Italian territory, for which the confirmation is subject to availability. The guarantee of availability can not be assured in the case of: events, fairs, international congresses, large private and institutional events, controlled parties, natural events, and causes of force majeure. At the time of booking the client is required to communicate: a) the presence of luggage and size. b) the presence of minors who need child seats or other safety systems required by the Highway Code c) the presence of animals d) the presence of disabled passengers, who need a wheelchair.


To use the services offered on the Site and in particular to transmit orders and reservations you must register. The information contained in the descriptive pages of the services offered is purely informative and does not constitute a contractual proposal or an offer to the public of the services described. No information contained in this site may be considered as a contractual offer or invitation to contract, except for pages that describe specific services for which a contractual offer is expressly and unequivocally formulated.


The rates are subject to continuous variations depending on the time, the day of the week, the time missing from the service at the time of booking and the availability of the means. For direct extra-urban (non-stop) transfers, the rate is calculated with a kilometric cost. Rates include: fuel and motorway tolls in Italy; additional charges (ZTL, motorway tolls abroad, ferries, etc.) will be charged on the invoice. Airport pick up services have dedicated rates to ask for the info service. Unless otherwise stated, for services starting at the airport, the fare includes 45 minutes free of charge from the moment of the flight landing, while for all other services the fare includes 15 minutes of free waiting. The waiting time after the scheduled one will be charged on an hourly basis. For services provided during the night (23:00 – 06:00) there is a surcharge of 20% on the ordinary rate. Pegaso is committed to offering a high quality service, through the use of safe cars and equipped with all comforts, as well as conducted by professional drivers. It also undertakes to use newly registered cars, covered by insurance, with ceilings at the top of the category and in compliance with the traffic permits in force in Italy and the European Economic Community. The transport of passengers is fully covered by the insurance that Pegaso has taken out for its vehicles with third parties.


Each passenger may carry a maximum of two pieces of baggage. (1 standard-sized checked baggage and 1 hand baggage) Any excess baggage (e.g. sports equipment such as skis and equipment, etc.) must be declared at the time of booking, in order to ensure that the rented car is properly used for such types of transport. The driver may refuse to load unannounced bulky items, excess suitcases or those that do not have suitable transport conditions (e.g. broken, dirty, wet suitcases, etc.) on the Audi A6s if he believes that they could compromise the safety of the journey. It is not allowed to carry luggage inside the passenger compartment, as per Highway Code. The properties of passengers are carried under the sole responsibility of the passenger who declares ownership at the time of embarkation. Liability for theft, damage or loss of luggage shall not be contested by the company or the driver.


Users of the rental service are prohibited from: a) smoking during transport; b) to dispose of objects from both stationary and moving vehicles; c) soiling, soiling or damaging the vehicle; d) eat and/or drink alcohol; e) require the transport of domestic animals without having taken, in agreement with the charterer, all the necessary measures to prevent damage or fouling of the car; f) demand that the transport is rendered in violation of the rules of safety and conduct provided for by the current Road Code.


The client can cancel the reservation by e-mail reservation@pegasolimo.it. For the cancellation of the service the following penalties apply for car and van services rendered in Italy: a) up to 12 hours from the departure of the service no penalty is applied. b) up to 6 hours from the departure of the service a penalty equal to 50% of the total amount is applied; c) if the cancellation is made within 6 hours, the amount due for the service must be paid in full. In case of cancelled flight/train or delay of more than 30 minutes at departure, the customer is obliged to notify the reservation number, to ensure the presence of an attendant on arrival. If the user does not notify of the delay or cancellation of the flight/ train loses the right to the service and will still have to pay a penalty equal to 50% of the total amount. In all other cases, if the user does not show up within the hour from the start of the service without having communicated neither any delays nor the cancellation of the same (c.d. “No Show”), forfeits the right to benefit and must in any case pay the full amount due beyond the supplements provided for the waiting period. For BUS services, provisions, tours and special services, the cancellation times are longer and will be communicated at the time of booking.


Pegaso undertakes in every reasonable way to ensure that its vehicles arrive on time at the departure and arrival appointments at their destination and will not be responsible for delays due to force majeure. Costs, losses or other damages caused to the user and attributable to Pegaso, except in case of intent or gross negligence, will be reimbursed only up to the value of the service requested. If Pegaso is unable to transport the user, with its own means or with the means of external collaborators, to the destination booked and paid, will arrange the transfer by external means (TAXI, Rental with Driver, Car rental) and subsequently to reimburse the customer the cost of such transport upon presentation of receipt/invoice; the refund will not exceed the agreed rates for the same route.


The rental relationship referred to in this contract is governed by Italian law. In case of conflict between the Italian version and any translated versions of this contract, the first will always prevail. Any dispute that will arise between Pegaso and the user will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Rome (Italy).


Pegaso reserves the right to modify at any time, in part or in full, the conditions of this Agreement, by publishing on the www.pegasolimo.it website the new general terms and conditions of the Agreement and without giving notice to customers, tour operators or agencies.


If any of the provisions of this Agreement are held to be invalid or ineffective, in whole or in part, it shall be deemed to be not party to this Agreement, which shall remain valid and applicable for the remaining provisions.VALIDITY OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS Secondary agreements, modifications or additions to these General Terms and Conditions shall be valid only and exclusively if agreed in writing.
